I decided to come to this buffet, against my good judgment, based on the hundreds of reviews raving about this place. We paid $150 for two people (it's $69/per person for dinner on a weekday). I had read online that it was $50 so this was the first shock.
The biggest shock of all was the mediocre food. The seafood, which is the biggest draw, was all show and no substance. The king crab was more like mini crab - very little meat. The stone crabs are nothing like the meaty babies you get at Joe's Stone Crab in Florida. They are flaky and not very good. The rest of the buffet was filled with subpar slop you can get at a $20 buffet. Nothing we took warranted more than 2 bites. And to top it off, the dessert bar was just more of the same. The fudge tasted like wax; the molten chocolate cake wasn't molten; the chocolate dipped strawberries looked a total mess as they were all fused together; and the gelato wasn't creamy. The cream brûlée was the winner at the dessert bar. What I'm trying to say is that I think you should save your hard earned money and go some place else. Wynn and Cosmopolitan have much better buffets if that is your thing.
