| - Went here this past weekend and had an interesting experience.
Positives: Kiss theme is executed really well. The music was fun too. Price is pretty reasonable, especially if you're a local and show your ID to get a discount. I had a coupon printed off their website and the honored both that and the local's discount together making each round of golf only $6.95.
Negatives: Staff was EXTREMELY rude (with the exception of the DJ). When we walked in it took at least ten minutes for someone to come help us. It wasn't overly crowed so it came down to them just not paying attention. Finally a gal turned around and said "Oh, do you want to golf?" ... naaaa I'm just standing here at the counter for fun... She never apologized for the wait or anything, just told us the price and pointed towards where we pick up clubs.
Then, when waiting in line to redeem the tickets for prizes in the arcade the woman behind the counter took 2 groups of people that were clearly behind my group in line and after I pointed out that we were they first she rolled her eyes and said she'd be with us when she could. She never did help us, she called someone else over so she didn't have to help us after we confronted her about ignoring us twice and the man that came over to help was equally rude to my little brother who was trying to pick out prizes.
In addition to rude staff, the other customers there were rude as well- cutting in line, golfing on the same hole that my group was on before we were finished, cutting us off. I know this cannot be helped but the staff did nothing to control the group of unsupervised kids who were playing on whichever hole they wanted with no regard for whether people were already on that hole or waiting their turn to start one.
The arcade is really expensive and pathetic, the prizes sucked (my 6 year old brother didn't even find anything he thought was cool- that's saying something).
Not enough space overall, especially if it's crowded.
Couldn't decide if it was meant to be a family friendly place or not. They serve beers so there were adults drinking but also kids running around wild which made for a weird mix of people. No real place for adults to sit and enjoy their beer so they just have to stand around the arcade where kids are trying to play games.
Probably will not be back, even though I got a super good price. If I'd have paid full price I would absolutely have complained to management about my experience.
