I don't mind at all paying over 200$ for dinner, but i think it's reasonable to expect that the food be something splendid in every bite. Truth is 70% of the food was only so so and the accompanying price tag just made it seem like a total let down.
Good stuff: lemon drop martini=yummy and only 9$!!
Veggie sides from the robata bar menu= abundant and quite tasty..although nothing to write home about per say.
Bad stuff:
All the boring overpriced sushi.
The chirashi roll is a huge let down, for 19$ you'd think they could throw some salmon on it instead of butterfish?! Butterfish with skin on trimmings are not tasty, its like bycatch, yuk. I scraped it off.
The scallop dynamite roll is another 19$ let down, it's really just a california roll with some paper thin scallop on top, you can't taste it, plus a micro dot of mayo, it might as well not be there.
It wasn't just subpar it was subboring.
.... and thats all folks.
