rev:text	The staff overall was fantastic and all the nurses were SO attentive and compassionate....BUT....Lord help you if your nurse is Heather.... Needed to get an IV taped up for his sterile shower Heather says "I'll be back in 10 minutes" we were so tired and zoned out watching a movie, movie ended no heather....I had to go find the CNA (Gina, who was an absolute doll!) and she was shocked that this wasn't done yet....Heather comes in, full of excuses, still chewing her food, claiming she was stuck with a patient. (Ya...ok) Later that day she was walking in to administer some meds at the exact same time he was flying to the restroom, as a result of some unpleasant side effects....when we told Heather the situation and asked her to come back shortly, her reply was a loud sigh and an eye roll. This individual should NOT be a nurse seeing as she seriously lacks compassion and basic bedside manor. Every single time she came in and additional supplies were needed it was "I'll be back in a few minutes" her 'few minutes' was NEVER less than 1 hour! When I brought this up to the charge nurse, she seemed well aware of Heather's behaviors and this did not seem like anything new. Even some other nurses were not surprised that I had requested a different nurse and my reasoning behind it. All our other nurses were absolutely fantastic, Yvonne the night nurse was amazing and the new day nurse Ashley (I requested to NOT have Heather again) was a fantastic! Attentive, kind and compassionate.
