One of my favorite noodle shops anywhere including those found in Hong Kong. I arrived at about 6:30 pm and surprisingly they were not very busy when I was seated but were about 75% to capacity by the time I left. Noodle Asia is located on the casino floor of the Venetian Hotel and there is usually a line to get in. I think I might have been a little early for any crowds.
I ordered the shrimp shu mai which were now and always have been as good as they can get. Just enough filling to wrapper ration and incredible seasoning.
Then for me the piece de resistance. The dish that I always crave when I am away from Las Vegas and that I crave again the next day after I have it. The Szechuan Beef and Noodle Soup. The broth can be customized to your taste. Anywhere from mild to very spicy. I chose medium. The broth is incredible. So very tasty that I have trouble not finishing it before I eat anything else in the bowl. Then there are the noodles. Fresh, medium thickness. Cooked to the perfect doneness. But the crown jewel of the dish is the beef. Six or seven huge pieces of beef that literally melt in your mouth. The soup is a combination of flavors that is perfect and hard to find so perfectly blended together.
I have been a regular here for many years and my love affair with Noodle Asia continues.
