I personally was disappointed with Creamistry, but after reading other reviews, I think it comes down to personal preference. I thought the ice cream was too hard - I prefer softer texture. It was hard to dig into the ice cream with a plastic spoon (so maybe the advice here is to order a cone rather than a cup).
The idea of using liquid nitrogen is really cool, but I missed the novelty of watching my ice cream being made because by the time I finished paying, it was already done. So while I appreciate the fast service, I missed the experience. And, I am assuming that "experience" is partly why the ice cream is so expensive - I ordered a regular with one topping and it was over $8! Every topping is $1, so if you want a sauce or multiple toppings, this can easily be a $12 ice cream. It's kinda hard to get over the price tag when there are so many other ice cream options in the area.
