This by far was the worst Stay experience ever at this "so-called Resort!" We have never been here before decided to plan a 40th birthday staycation we picked here based off price and recent review which later going back and reading don't seem like they were from true reviewers but possibly employees or management they had one review and it happened to be this Resort only and no other reviews? Odd!. First off, we told them upon check in it was my 40th birthday and they gave us our first room on an incline which I couldn't even walk with my heels on this put us automatically off on the bad foot. We complained. Brian moved us 2 hours later to room 3040 king suite, nice room, but motel bathroom toilet next to tub. Overlooking parking lot to main pool area no balcony just sliding glass with rod iron to stop fall. As we entered the unit the live band from the pool area could be heard inside our room. We had plans to go out off Property and have a nice dinner at Pappadeaux and I wanted to take a nap before we went out and that didn't happen, the band was so loud I couldn't rest and it ruined my dinner plans. I expressed my unhappiness and Brittany sent up a bottle of champagne (thank you) but it didn't correct the problem. Upon waking the next morning at 7am I asked Anna if we could get a late check out and she said sorry the latest we can do is 12pm, I was like wow? Really?? Your hotel accommodation ruined my 40th birthday and I can't re-do my 40th birthday and now you won't give us the opportunity to sleep in more and enjoy the amenities of the Hotel.? Bad bad bad and shame on you!! You should of gave me my money back and not charge me more to move me to this room!
We won't return and this is not a Resort experience in my opinion, it's a Motel with a dress. The Phoenician, The JW Marriott Desert Ridge and even the Scottsdale Plaza has you guys beat in my books..
Happy Travels!
