  • side note...does anyone else notice that "Russell" is responding to bad reviews with the same manner he is receiving complaints about?? Typical....and pathetic... Here's my story....can't wait to see if Russell tries to respond and say that he was a "top gun" sales person on the phone....ridiculous... HORRIBLE!!!! If I could give these people negative stars I would. The owner's husband is a NIGHTMARE to work with. They don't have a secretary so no one is "manning" the shop. If you book on their website - don't expect to actually get a massage....their therapists don't show up and the owner (Russell) will tell you they will show up and he'll call you back - no call back, no therapist shows up....and when we go to call Russell - he is no longer answering his phone.... This place used to be my "go to"....I used to give gift certificates to my friends and family over the years...but in the last two years, this place has REALLY gone down....it may be cheap - but you get what you pay for..... Case in point - I went (and paid for) a day of relaxation with a group of 6 of us last year....initially they said we could all be seen at the same time, then the day before they call and left a message that we needed to split the group in two sections....3 at a time... The first three of us go - and two people get out of their massage early and are told to sit in this "waiting area" where there are chairs and everything is still dark....another therapist is passing by (the owners daughter - must be a family trait) and stops into the curtained area and says "you can't be here"....my friend looks up and says "oh sorry - we were told to wait here" the lady says "um, I don't think so, you need to go out to the lobby if your massage is done" and walks away.... The second group had another bad experience with checking out and the chaos that comes with poor management, poor customer service and small business owners that have no business running a spa..... When one of the 6 of us called to complain, the owner (Russell) was RUDE...very defensive and kept saying "so - what exactly do you want me to do"....ummmmm you're the owner...the business man....take care of your business. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!! FYI - the 5 star reviews....look at the names of their therapists....you may find some matches! lmao
