| - Don't know if it pays to review them, but this store and pretty much all B&N Stores s***! It must be a rule that, no matter how long the checkout line is, only one clerk is permitted to be behind the counter, although each store seems to have at least six cash registers! I read a lot of European car magazines, and I regularly leave thirty or forty dollars' worth sitting in the table and walking out - especially when I can see other associates standing around talking to each other, or stocking shelves when they could be attending to customers. I tried contacting corporate customer relations, but got blown off. I miss Borders.
The company only deserves one star, however, I have rated it two because there is a young woman with long red hair who works the checkout and makes up for much of the frustration. She is warm, bright, attentive and lovely, and deserves to work in a better place.
