| - Common theme here: Management sucks. High turnover in the office means that no one knows what they are talking about and apparently are not held accountable to anything they tell residents verbally. My advice is to get everything in writing and never trust what anyone tells you verbally at the office. Beware of the 2 MONTH notice you have to give before leaving, regardless of when your lease is up. Since any adult knows that 2 months notice is extreme, and those apartments can get rented out before 2 months, I kindly asked management if they were able to rent out my apartment earlier, by 1 week, because I gave a 'late notice.' Even though I understand that by law they are not required to, I took the VERBAL contract by every employee at the front desk telling me 5 times that a move out date change to 2/15 ( my original lease end date) was in the system. Moderne and JLB Partners shame on you for flat out lying to me for 1.5 months. Stop lying to tenants by telling them whatever they want to hear just to get them out of your hair. Upper management was also not helpful when I brought up the issue to them since the "employees that told you that no longer work for the company." I'm sorry, since when does high turnover excuse lying? In terms of the actual unit, beautiful apartments but the wood floors do make it loud if you are not on the top floor. Management also constantly forgets to turn off the radio and TV's outdoors, so good luck trying to go to sleep if you have a pool/ front desk facing apartment. Very young people live in complex, majority in their early 20's and early 30's, so constant pool parties and rowdiness on the weekends since the complex is close to Old Town Scottsdale.
