At first I was not impressed. First we were told it would be a 30 minute wait so we decided to order some drinks at the bar. We were passed up a number of times while we sat at the bar... no drink menus, no eye contact, nothing. Eventually we were able to put in an order for a blackberry martini and a beer. Waited another 10 minutes before our order-taker returned to ask if we wanted a menu. I reminded him we were still waiting on our drinks and informed him we were waiting on a table in the dining room. Finally got our drinks and a minute later we were told our table was ready. Unfortunately we had to settle up the bill for the bar before we could continue to the dining room. Odd they wouldn't just transfer it over.
Dining room was a much nicer atmosphere. I finally felt like they wanted me there, wanted to wait on me, wanted me to have a nice experience. Waiter quickly took our order of Porcini Crusted Ribeye, an herb-butter Ribeye, and a ceasar salad. We were in the mood for steaks! Anyway, food was brought out quickly and tasted really great. My husband liked my ribeye more than his so we ended up sharing. In my opinion ribeyes don't really need much seasoning, so the porcini crusted ribeye wasn't doing it for either of us, but it wasn't bad. Ordered a couple more drinks midway through the dinner and all was good. I have to say that the blackberry martini is really frickin good. Overall this place is nice and has some good food.
