| - Pros: I wholeheartedly support local mom + pop type businesses, so I really wanted to like this place. The shop and restroom are kept very clean, which is important in these self-serve dealies.
Cons: I'm a frozen yogurt snob, so I had high hopes for this place after dining on sushi at the revolving sushi place next door. (Obvi, I'm not a sushi snob, ha! But hey, I'm an AZ native so can you really fault me on my judgement of sushi?) Anyways, I've tried this place a few times and each time it has disappointed me in more ways than one. The flavor of the yogurt is always "off" to me. The owner of this place has assured me each time that it is A) because I've eaten sushi beforehand, so my taste buds are tainted by this (which is hilarious because the sign outside says 10% off the price of yogurt when you show your sushi receipt) and B) because his yogurts are made with no preservatives and all natural sugars. I told him I must be used to preservative-laden and unnatural sugars yogurt, because in my opinion, shops like Yogurtland, Yogurtini, & Yogurtology taste MUCH better to me than the yogurt at this place. Reading through the other reviews on here, I did not see many people complaining about flavor, so I'm not quite sure what is going on here. Also, I feel like they always seem to have the same flavors, and I like when flavors are rotated more frequently. Lastly, I think this place is overpriced for the cost per ounce. I understand it's a small business and they need to stay afloat, but I would expect better quality/taste for such a price.
