Here's the situation with El Torito,
I've heard AMAZING things about this place. And I mean amazing! My personal experience summarized into 4 parts is this:
*Staff- very nice and friendly.
*Location- unique building with a super pretty view of the mountains, with windows to admire the dessert nature. The inside is also neat because it has some cool wall art and little fun details
* Pricing- not super affordable, but not incredibly expensive. Somewhere in the middle.
*Food- and lastly...food. Their food was honestly a disappointment. I'm not sure if it was my personal preference, but Mexican food is my favorite, and nothing about to food satisfied me. The salsa was not my favorite at all (which btw chips and salsa is the best part of going to Mexican restaurants!!) I ordered the chicken enchiladas and for some reason they just weren't that special. I'm so sad about this, but I need to be honest, the food IMO isn't anything to write home about.
*And for that reason alone, I probably won't be coming back, unless a friend wants to go there. I just wouldn't go out of my way to spend money on what I think is mediocre food
