  • I recently ordered a Cassada Cake from here for Thanksgiving. I am suprised by the other review that said it was so tasty. It was 2 years ago. I was very dissapointed as a true cassada cake has strawberries. They had a thin layer of what appeared to be jelly. The custard inside was also a small layer. It was mostly a vanilla cake. When I called after the holiday to speak to them about my dissapointment they made no apologies and said that is how they always make them. I indicated they should advise up front that they do not make a traditional cassada cake with real fruit! I will not be visiting this bakery again.
