If it was possible to give no stars, Oyshi would be the one. I thought I would give this place a second try being it has a few years since I first went. The host quoted a 30 minute wait, but we got sat at a table pretty quickly. I had asked our server, Ploi, if they do half rolls and she did say that I would either have be at the bar or eating AYCE, which I did mention my girlfriend and myself were both doing AYCE and I also let her know my girlfriend is allergic to avocado. Our first order consisted of a few appetizers but the wait was ridiculous, 15 minutes had passed and nothing came by while this was happening a party of 4 was just sat next to us and they got their food in less than 5 minutes. Ploi walked by and asked if we wanted to order any more I was getting impatient so I decided to order some rolls and asked if I can get half rolls, she mentioned that I would have be sat at the bar and have AYCE which disregarded the statement she made when I first asked about half rolls. Which is stupid why only have half rolls at the bar. Anyways I put in my orders and those came out pretty quick they messed up a couple of the salmon nigiri I had ordered 3 orders but they only gave us 2. After about 40 minutes our appetizers finally came but we ordered 3 orders of shrimp tempura and they only gave us 1 order and we noticed that the kitchen was coming out with plate fulls of shrimp tempura to every other table besides ours, we had to keep reminding our food runners that we ordered more than what we received. Another thing noted was a food runner gave us a rainbow roll that we did not order which had avocado, and my girlfriend is highly allergic to avocado so I dont know why they didn't make sure it was going to the right table. More time passed we made a few more orders of rolls and appetizers but those took another 30 minutes and the tables next to us keep getting their food right away. I'm sorry but perception wise that's not okay. I was still hungry but I did not want to wait another 30 minutes for my orders to come. I will not be returning to Oyshi. I've been to sushi places with very how volume in chinatown; they were more efficient running food and their servers have a better sense of urgency. I will not be returning to Oyshi.
