  • This gym is horrible. The gentleman that owns it is just plain rude and disrespectful. He lacks professionalism and I have never been to a gym where I was treated the way I was. When I cancelled my membership and called for information on how to do so, the owner yelled at me and asked how I got his number (it was posted on his office door!) I informed him I left a letter on his desk and he responded with " how did you get in the office without me seeing ( his door was open and I waited and he didn't come so I dropped the letter on his desk and proceeded to call him as I was leaving the building.) As the conversation continued he got more belligerent ( I am definitely not exaggerating here, after my conversation I had I lost all trust in the gym and the privacy policies or anything they had in place. I drove straight to the bank and asked for their advice on protecting myself since I had given them my account number.) He asked me what the letter was for and I informed him it was a cancellation letter, he said " if everything is on there then we will cancel it" I asked him what the letter needed to say and his response was "I'm not getting into it right now, I'm on the other line, if it has your number I will call you if anything else is needed!" I told him my number wasn't on there and that I left him a voicemail on the gym phone number this morning and if he could call me back. We had disagreement about my cancellation fee which was different from what he verbally told me when I signed. He kept quoting the written agreement which is different than what he said (My fault, should have read it more closely.) I definitely felt like he was a phoney salesman and should never have signed with this gym. I tried many different channels to get a hold of him and he gave me excuses of all the expectations he has to attend to before returning my call.. which I would like to say he never returned my call and only corresponded through email and only gave me details on anything when I put a stop payment on the gym. I gave up a membership at Gold's to join Anytime because it was closer and more convenient to my house. For about the same price as other full service gyms this one is definitely lacking. Gold's offered classes and childcare which this one does not. Do I really want to work out at 2am with no one else in the facility or the area? It seems like a selling point but with Stoney Trail just right there, I could go to Goodlife fitness for cheaper but receive better quality service and with attendants there for security purposes. This gym was like an empty warehouse with gym equipment in it. Save yourself the headache and frustration, with the fees you pay at this gym you can just buy yourself a couple pieces of equipment and workout at home - that is essentially what you get at this gym. There is NO service. When I told my friends and my neighbors, they had the same experience.. I guess he is consistent with one thing.. bad service
