| - If I could give ZERO stars, I would!!
I came here on 9/1/12 after purchasing a voucher through Amazon Local. I visited their website and booked an appointment on their on line booking system. I was happy to see they had a same day appointment available as I really needed a massage and some relaxation after a hellish week. I live approximately 20 miles away in SE Gilbert, but I figured it was worth the drive.
As I pulled into the parking lot, my cell phone rang and it was the receptionist. She said that they actually didn't have any available appointments that day and could I reschedule? I was, of course upset, and said I would come in to speak with them.
When I went in the tiny, cramped "lobby", which is also apparently the pedicure area, a woman (who I assume was the owner) was giving a pedicure, and when I asked about the scheduling abruptly told me that "We have been having problems with our on line scheduling, it's showing available times when there aren't any". She then said, "Well, we thought that feature was removed from our website, but I guess not, we are still new you know". I stated that I didn't think that was my fault and that I had driven all the way across town for an appointment, and I was pretty upset by this. She basically said, "How do you think we feel, we hear people tell us this every day how upset they are with the scheduling. It's not just you, you aren't our only customer."
Okay, CLUE PEOPLE -- if you are having people complain EVERY DAY, then FIX YOUR WEBSITE!! If you know there's a problem, you fix it. What kind of business model is this?
The situation degenerated from there, and I will fully admit I was upset (crying) about the situation, but then the owner got downright nasty with me, as well as laughing about my frustration with the customer she was servicing. That she didn't care that I was upset and it wasn't their fault and that I was out of luck. She then told me to leave and don't bother coming back, they don't want me as a customer. Which was humiliating and upsetting...
Bottom line: the owner (I assume) was nasty, uncaring, rude and doesn't seem to have a clue how to manage a business properly. Plus the fact that 2.5 hours after I booked the appointment they finally called to say they didn't have room (as I was arriving there) and I wasted an hour of my time and 40 miles of driving for nothing is just wrong.
Stay FAR FAR away from this place. Don't fall for the deals on Amazon Local, Groupon, etc from these people. I am sure, based on my experience and other reviews as well, that you will NOT be happy.
BTW - I must give kudos to Amazon Local, who immediately refunded my money when I called them the minute I left the "spa", and the wonderful customer service rep who was empathetic and sweet to me, even though I was very upset and hurt by the whole situation. She was horrified to hear about the behavior of the owner, and promised to pass it on to her supervisors there, as they want to know about unsatisfactory experiences with the businesses they feature, so they can decide if they want to do business with them again.
