  • Stopped in to Gold Lounge for the Yelp deals during Yelp's Vegas Spring Break. Not impressed. First of all it was still early for a Saturday night...probably around 930 or 10pm. The place wasn't packed, but it wasn't empty either. We stood at the bar for approximately 20 minutes before the bartender was able to get to us. She did stop by several times to make sure we knew she was working her way over to us, but it was still a loooong time to stand at a bar waiting for drinks. No stools or anything. Turns out they only had two bartenders on at the time...not really enough for a Saturday night in Vegas, even if it was early on Vegas terms. Once the bartender finally made it our way, I showed her my Spring Break guide (which was supposed to prove we deserved our two-for-one drinks) and she had no clue there was even a Yelp deal going on. She then took it to her manager who also had never heard of it. Luckily, they decided to give us our two-for-one drinks anyway, but at that point I was pretty annoyed. So let's just say that we stayed for a round of drinks and moved on. Not the greatest Vegas experience.
