  • Uuummm...it wasn't bad. I ordered the Brickhouse Brisket, which I thought would be extremely tender. Not so much. It was actually a little tough, especially the ends. The flavor was good and the meat was cooked to medium rare as I'd requested, but I wouldn't order it again. The cornbread and mashed potatoes I ordered on the side were actually much better than the entree. Hmph. My fiance had the ribs, which he enjoyed, but wasn't up to par with his favorites based on how it fell off the bone. Or how it didn't. He enjoyed using the mango habanero sauce on the meat though. Fries were good, beans were okay. Overall, not a place we would jump at the chance to come back to. At least the service was great!
