We love the new menu, but the price increase for the quality of food is not worth it. Zipps is a place we take our family at least once a week but with the price increase, and the decrease in food quality, we may be finding a new favorite place. We love that they have added beer cheese to the menu like Goldie's but it may not be enough.
Tonight I tried out the Golden Focaccia. I thought it would be like a buffalo focaccia with cheese but I was 100% mistaken. All I could taste was fry oil. It was lacking in golden sauce and the amount of ranch canceled out any tang at all. It was blend and lacing in any flavor at all.
Our daughter ordered the kids hot dog. Anyone who has kids can relate to kids not liking poppy seeds on their buns. I'm sure if this was listed on the menu description we would have pick something different. The service was amazing but the food was sorely lacking. Its very sad that this location can't get it together at all.
It's great to see the menu update after so many years, but if your restaurants can't execute the changes, then why change? This location was making improvements until the change in the menu and management.
$75 for a dinner of 4 is fine if the food is amazing, but for working class family it is a little steep.
P.S. The burger section of the menu is missing a header. Yes, this is nit picking but really should have been caught burning proofreading.
