| - had i written a review for this store several months ago, I would have given it 5 stars, but after two incidents there, i will give them 1 star and not do business with them again:
A couple of months ago, I went to K&G and they had a sell, two pairs of jeans for $50, so I grabbed two and went to the counter when I get there, the manager tell me, the sale was not for those two particular pair of jeans that I had, i walked over and showed him the sign, he told me that he put the sign there because he had no other place to put it........what a bunch of crap, so i told the clerk that I did not want the jeans and left. so they got none of my money
Today, I decide to go in and pick up two shirts, while heading to the counter i saw a pair of pants on a rack, two for $30, one for $16.95
I get to the counter and the rep tells me that the Big and Tall pants are two for $40, the rep said that it says it at the bottom of the sign in very small print. The Two for $30 is for the regular size pants.
Why would K&G have a sign with big red words advertising that the merchandise was two for $30 but in very small print it says Big and Tall is two for $40, and have that sign in the Big and Tall section??? So if a customer is in a rush, grabs the pants and go to the counter, was he not suppose to notice the difference in price??? Is K&G hoping that the customer wouldn't notice the difference in price.
I think the smart thing to do sense the rack was in the Big and Tall section is to have the correct price for the correct merchandise in big words.
I advised the rep that there seems to always be something when I go to the store, the price is never whats advertised, i chose not to purchase the pants and I advised the rep that I will not be back again.
