If I could rate 2.5 stars, I would. I'll round up to 3 though. I really want to love this place.
Stopped in for a drink after dinner. Loved the atmosphere - trendy but not pretentious. Great selection of drinks, and the menu looked good, even though we didn't eat. So impressed that I convinced my friends we HAD to go back for Sunday brunch.
Sunday brunch was less than impressive. Food was eh. Atmosphere was eh. Drinks were ok.
But I really want to like this place! So I came back a third time. This time I was by myself, and I definitely don't recommend coming here solo. The bartender was too busy to talk/ask recommendations/take the time to take my order. There's one TV, but it only visible to a few seats.
And the cliental is all over the place. Not a good spot for a 20/30 something to make new friends or strike up a conversation. I'd say the average age on my third visit (Thursday happy hour/dinner crowd) was 45ish. My 28 year-old self definitely brought down the average.
I'll probably try this place another time. Because I really do want to like it. Good parking, good location, good drink prices. It's just good.
