Owner beware. This review comes after several months of having our dogs there for treatment and boarding. This place was close to our new home so we changed vets and animal hospitals. The place is clean. It seems well staffed even though I've commonly waited about 20-30 minutes to get my dogs boarded. It's recommended that I speak with the vet or vet tech bf each stay. It's also common to wait 20-30 on the phone just to check for things. When you arrive, there is no real organization because they never seem to know why we're there.
It was about the 3rd or 4th time I boarded my dogs when I noticed that they seemed to recommend vaccinations a lot. I paid no mind because I was busy and trusted them. I asked for records a couple weeks ago...wow!!! My dog was given three flu vaccines in a five month period. I smell greed. I didn't realize that dog flu season was in May, August, and October. Bordatella every six months...probably can let that slide since the recommendations are every 6-12 months. I'm no anti-vaxxer. I believe in science and I am a licensed and boarded practicing physician for humans so I get it regarding prevention. I get the flu vaccine every year. My child is vaccinated, but three flu vaccines in six months? Come on! My physician Spidey-sense tells me something isn't right.
Needless to say, I will bring my dogs across town to our old vet. Never had a bad experience there.
