I purchased a pair of glasses at another optician because The Eyeglass Factory did not sell the frame I wanted. The lenses were top of the line. I've been wearing glasses for over 60 years. This was the first pair that was not usable - the frame was not comfortable and the lenses were terrible and causing me headaches. The other optician said there was nothing wrong (she blamed the script) and refused to do repairs. She only offered me a refund.
So I took the glasses to the Eyeglass Factory for a second opinion because Ben had been so helpful when I was shopping for new frames. Lorne immediately pointed out that the script was in the wrong position on both lenses. He raised the glasses to show me and suddenly I could see better. Before I could tell him they were also uncomfortable, he modified the frame at the bridge and behind the ears, and suddenly they were comfortable. I went to my eye doctor who confirmed Lorne's comments about the incorrect position of the script. The other optician refused to repair the lenses, so I obtained a refund. From now on I will only shop at the Eyeglass Factory.
I purchased a pair of sunglasses at the Eyeglass Factory. Lindsay fitted them perfectly in one try.
The prices at the Eyeglass Factory are very competitive. But the service is much, much better.
