| - Like a moth drawn to a flame... I was drawn into The Forum Shops at Caesars. Geez, that huge and bright sign on The Strip was one of the draws.
No, actually, my feet were aching and I decided to look for another pair of shoes. I found the Mephisto footwear store even on our first day in Las Vegas as I had foolishly worn a pair of shoes that I hadn't properly broken in. Instead, my feet were being broken in. Ouch! Unfortunately, they didn't have my size in the style that I wanted. So, for the rest of the trip, I toughed it out and eventually, my shoes felt better on my feet.
I think I ended up being more distracted from my foot pain as we wandered through this mall. Lots of dining options and shops can even draw me, a "surgical strike shopper" like me in. The intricately copied Roman antiquities including the troughs in the cobbled streets reminded us of our past trips through Italy. There are over 270 mid-range and luxury retailers and services under this one roof so there is a lot to see and do in here.
From recent reading, in terms of sales per square foot, this mall is the highest grossing in the United States. I can believe it just as the statues come to life in front of The Cheesecake Factory!
