  • Located inside of the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino, Orchid Lounge is your typical over priced hotel chain coffee shop. Meaning you have to be prepared to have not only an open mind but an open wallet! I ended up at this place by default because I was issued a food and beverage credit while staying at the hotel so because this was the closest place when I got off the elevator on my way to check out I thought what the hell! Why not?! So I purchased an espresso that's taste definitely didn't warrant the price... eh it could be because I'm a Starbucks OCD snob but whatever I feel like if you are going to charge crazy prices for stuff make sure it's crazy good, it's only right, right? Anyways I had a few more dollars to spend so I went ahead and told them to throw in their turkey spinach Cobb salad for lunch later that day ! Oh by the way That will run you about $13 and some change.. the salad was good! No complaints. Customer service was meh.. I'd return no problem as long as the casino is paying for it again :-)
