| - The Dorsey nicely fits in with the opulent vibe of the Venetian. With muted colors, a well-lit bar counter with perfectly organized bottles of fancy alcohol, and classy ashtrays (and matches to go alongside with them), The Dorsey is undeniably classy. It somehow transports you to 1950s-esque world, even though it's located right next to the main casino floor. The waitresses here are also very pretty which is nice too :)
I stayed in the Venetian, so I was here a few times during my stay in Vegas. The most memorable drink I had, hands down, was the layered grasshopper. It was a hand whipped float with creme de cacao and creme de menthe. Super rich, yummy, and pleasant to drink. It tasted like a mint float with a strong, rich taste of alcohol on the finish. My second favorite was Summer in the City, which is a coffee liqueur float with Fernet Branca. The float drinks here are really tasty and unique, so I'd recommend them over the more traditional drinks that are tasty, but lack a "wow" factor to them.
My only gripe with this place is that I didn't like how they made the lounge so ridiculously bright for the entire hour before closing. I understand that the staff wants to get home, and I respect that, but it seemed a little silly to turn on the lights so brightly for so long before closing. It kinda killed the elegant vibe.
