I stopped in to pick up shoes on hold. The Cheyenne location didn't have my size in stock. This store has a very different vibe to it.
We walked in and didn't realize that the girl with her head down and eyes glued to her phone sitting on the bench was the employee. I let her know I had shoes on hold and she grabbed them. Before she swiped my card, I opened the box and saw they had been worn. She told me they hadn't been worn out of the store though. At that point, I wasn't really sure of what to do- instant gratification or order a fresh pair but have to wait?
Honestly, if it weren't for such a great first experience at the Cheyenne location, I probably would have walked out. Especially considering that the girl wasn't very pleasant to deal with. But I literally drove all the way from the North side.
So you can thank the dude over at Cheyenne for that sale. Next time, I'll stick to the other store. It may not be as new and next to a Whole Foods, but the guy definitely knows exactly what he's talking about, is courteous and professional.
