rev:text	My former husband needed to sell his valuable Audubon art book. He has left the book in their care and they have 90 days to sell it. The Singing Lady Emporium is two separate stores across the parking lot from each other. The main store features dining room sets and the associated dishes, fine china sets and accessories. The annex store features gently used furniture, lamps, decorative bowls and other centrepieces, clocks, desk decorations and art prints. I am an avid Antiques Roadshow aficionado, so although many items were reproductions of antiques and they were marked as such, the sheer beauty of some of the items awed me. I coveted a bronze horse with desk clock and a "Ruby" Bohemian glass lamp that operates with a battery. My daughter covets the two Tiffany style lamps. I don't know if I'll be able to come up with the cash while the items I like are still on sale, but you know what? It was eye candy and I enjoyed just looking at it and photographing it. I get the same vicarious pleasure from watching the PBS American Antiques Roadshow, the British Antiques Roadshow (with host Fiona, whose fashion wardrobe I also covet LOL), and yes, even the sadly missed, long since cancelled Canadian Antiques Roadshow on TV. I admit if I see something that I think is too tacky, too kitschy or just IMO ugly, I then enjoy the vicarious pleasure of rejecting buying or owning the monstrosity, feeling like I'm a millionaire with good taste who can afford to reject something very expensive snickers. This is a WIN-WIN situation! Have a look in Singing Lady Emporium to see what might catch your eye [or not! ;-) ]
