As someone who watches Food Network and had success baking and cooking a bunch of delicious dishes using Giada's recipes, I had to stop by this restaurant despite the mixed reviews. I'm not sure how the dinner is here, but my husband and I enjoyed our brunch!
I loved the décor of this restaurant. It was much bigger than I expected, with a huge open floor plan and large windows, offering a nice view of the strip.
We ordered the Sunrise Polenta Waffle and Italian Chicken & Waffle (we sure love our waffles!) The waffles were delicious, but without the maple syrup and béchamel sauce, the Sunrise Polenta Waffle was lacking in flavor--it would've helped if there was more than just tiny bits of pancetta. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the fried chicken was delicious--crispy skin with tender meat.
Service was great. The hostess was friendly and our waiter was attentive. We were able to get a free glass of prosecco with our Yelp check-in! We also took advantage of the photobooth.
The price of the dishes weren't cheap, but we still enjoyed our food and thought the portions were pretty big. We were really stuffed, and ended up having to box a large piece of chicken along with half a waffle. There are tons of spots in Vegas I have yet to try, but I wouldn't mind coming back here again to try out other dishes for brunch.
