| - Well, I just came back from Caffe Brasiliano and one thing is for sure... I'm not hungry.
As was mentioned in the previous review, it is sort of cafeteria style setting where I'd guess most folks order a "plate"... a main item plus three sides. Today, I got filet of sole (breaded and pan fried, I think?) with rice, spaghetti and carrots. Other sides available included beans and salad. Other main items available included roast chicken, cannelonni (sp?), chili.
I got a pretty big piece of fish plus enough sides to fill at least two people. Quality is better than the "cafeteria" style suggests, but not gourmet in the least, just good home-cooking.
My bill was $9.00 (tax included, no tip necessary) plus $1.25 for a diet pepsi. This was for dinner, lunch may be less expensive.
Bottom line - if you are looking to be well-fed, quickly and inexpensively Caffe Brasiliano is definitely worth considering. I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could.
