| - Four stars for rooms/upkeep of hotel, three stars when food considered.
Very nice rooms, and we got a decent view of the strip but couldn't see the Bellagio fountains or Mirage volcano or anything like that. Not the most upgraded and luxurious room I've ever stayed in, but nice. It wasn't super big but enough room. I would have expected more high end amenities. I think the bed was a california king as opposed to a typical eastern king, so I wasn't very pleased with that. Housekeeping was good but again not as fast or attentive as I've had at other hotels. Although it was our five year anniversary, we didn't receive any kind of special treatment or perk, which would have been nice but certainly not expected. Basically even though you pay a lot to stay here, employees don't make you feel special or any different than any other tourist that comes into the hotel. I just expected more from a Wynn hotel!
The worst part of this hotel is by far the food options. There are very little easy and fast options for food, and you end up waiting in very long lines, all the time. Forget about getting into any of the other restaurants without a reservation, even just for breakfast. I felt like a lot of restaurants were only open for dinner, which again narrowed down the options. I DO love their buffet though, but again, you wait in lines for it at all times of day. For the food options and spaciousness of rooms, I definitely prefer the Palazzo or Bellagio.
