  • Don't know why this isn't five stars. I was here last year before the remodel and had to come back to check out the new results. It's gorgeous! Everything you would expect in a new spa at the Phoenician. Excellent amenities, absolutely immaculate, and plenty of natural light. My friend and I made a day of it. We started with a yoga class and had a great time. Very helpful instructor. Went on to check out the pool briefly and headed back in for a superb meditation session. We settled out by the pool for lunch at a nice shaded table. Here I need to give a shout out to Gennaro (I hope I spelled it correctly). This guy should be promoted! We had some special requests on our lunch and he was very cheerful about it. He brought us iced eucalyptus towels, endless ice water and soft drinks, and helped us move our umbrella for shade. Truly a stellar employee! We then checked out the steam room and jacuzzi. Both very nice. Headed down to the relaxation lounge to wait for our massages. Gorgeous and comfortable waiting area. Had Maureen for my massage. She listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. A very classy and friendly person. Showers were comfortable and locker room area was very nice. All staff were incredibly attentive and well trained. One suggestion: need a more expansive menu for lunch. Could even throw a dessert or two on there. Definitely would return and would feel very confident taking a guest along.
