Pho was not the business here. I have tasted authentic pho and this was not it. The broth had no taste. It was not rich in flavor. I played around with my food and pushed it around in its bowl. It was just not good. I am from SF where food has its diversity and maybe I am spoiled a bit.
I do have to compliment their nam nuong bi cuon though. That was good. Although I think the wrong sauce was given. It was like a sweet chili sauce that you normally get when you order lumpias.
We came here on CNY only because the line for Pho Kim Long was out the door. My fiance had something gray/black floating in his water and I asked the guy to switch it out for him. He said "Oh that's because we put lychee in the water." and walked away. Hmm okay then. I just gave my water to my fiance because the server did not come back to switch it out.
