rev:text	I'll start by stating unfortunately libraries in the Charlotte area are generally quite poor and outdated. Even in wealthy areas north of Charlotte they are horrible compared to those in Florida. More recently, I stopped in Davidson where the library was very small, outdated, and the Internet was so poor I had to leave because I couldn't work with it at all. And I was only one of three people there at the time. So I wasn't expecting much when I walked through the door of this facility, especially considering some areas nearby were not the best. But I was very impressed. The staff was incredibly accommodating and lovely. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted with a smiling face. She asked how she could help and I stated I was just looking for a quiet place to work. Instead of simply pointing to the back like so many others have, she got up, walked me to the desk of peers behind her, and signed me up for a study room. These rooms were quite helpful and had a two hour limit. They would let you stay in them so long as no one else requested it. I worked there for about four hours, and as the rooms were quite quiet and lacked distractions, I got a lot accomplished in that amount of time. However, if you're very sensitive to noise I would recommend headphones or earplugs as the clock on the wall may prove distracting for some. The facility itself is actually well-appointed with a beautiful entryway and an impressive computer facility. Wonderful addition for the surrounding communities. I hope everyone utilizes it and appreciates the staff. It's a far cry from every location I've been to in Charlotte.
