  • Went after seeing Taruk at the Talking Stick Resort Arena (America West/US Airways Arena). Finally in the area while they're open! Woohoo! Got there and checked out the menu - interesting assortment of foods. Everybody's happy! Got our order in and sat back down...the rain started to move from a drizzle to steady...no cover outside (just shade cloth) and all 9 of the inside seats were taken. Switched our order to takeout and sent everyone to the car. Got the order and headed home. Almost none of the fries survived the drive (we were hungry, and they were really tasty!) I ordered the Bumblebee - that's a southern fried chicken breast (boneless) biscuit sandwich. It had dijon mustard, pickles, and honey...not really my flavor profile - not sure if it was the mustard or the pickles, but just missed by a bit for my taste (biscuit was great, chicken was very good). Everybody enjoyed their orders, and we finished up with beignets - great way to finish off!!!
