| - I hate to post a great review here because I know it is only a matter of time before the $79 to Burbank goes up to $300. But wow, this company kicks you know what!
I am a nervous flyer, and did a lot of research on this company before going on a jet that was not Southwest Airlines. The only issue I could see would be some nut job causing problems while the plane is at 30,000 feet. It is a valid concern, because you could essentially bring anything you want onto this plane. You are not checked really. So yeah, that is scary. But the rest of the experience is incredible.
No, this is not a "private jet" experience. But it is also not commercial. You can get to the hanger 25 minutes before your flight and be fine. No hassle whatsoever. Hand over your ID, get your ticket and then hand them your bag. Hungry? Need water, coffee or an energy drink before the flight? No problem, it is there for the taking. But keep room in your stomach because you will get a drink and a snack on the plane as well. When it is time to board, they drive you a few minutes in a super comfy limo bus to the tarmac where you meet your new friend Mr Jet. In Burbank, there is no shuttle, you just walk 20 feet out the hanger.
Vegas to Burbank takes about 30 to 35 minutes in the air. That is FAST! I think Southwest comes in at about 50 minutes as the fastest time in air that I have seen.
The plan holds 30 people I think. It is a smaller jet than I am used to, but the overhead compartments are gone, so it feels larger. The ride was smooooooth. The turns were noticeable, but it was a really nice ride. Large windows, tons of legroom and a super nice bathroom.
Once you experience this, you will have a hard time going to a regular airport. Flying JetSuiteX ruined regular flying for me. It was really very enjoyable. Took the hassle out of flying.
Now I need to figure out how to make the really big bucks to get my own personal jet.
