Definitely a 4 star diner breakfast! First of all, the service was fantastic. My husband and I came very early in the day with our 2 year old. He's at a difficult age for restaurants.. He needs constant entertainment and his attention span is short. He was given crayons and a kid's menu to color on, as well as a cup of water with a lid and a straw. Even still, he spilled his water within 5 minutes. The server was so wonderful. I was very apologetic and she said, "we only give them as much water as we want to clean up." They took care of it quickly and assured us it was no big deal! This was very nice, as we already feel like an imposition!! Onto the meal itself. Coffee was hot and very acceptable by diner standards. Our son got a whole grain chocolate chip pancake and the little stinker did enjoy it very much :) My husband had biscuits and gravy, which is a meal he continues to be underwhelmed by at area breakfast spots but keeps trying anyway. I'm happy to report that he was very happy with his meal here! I had an omelette and requested an alternate cheese and they made the change for me, no problem. The omelette was good with plenty of fillings. The standout of the meal may have been the biscuit, which came as a side with my meal. Perhaps when we don't have our 2 year old forcing us to run quickly out the door we'll stay for a sweet treat. The dessert case was full of delicious looking cakes and pies!
