I was excited to try Switch based on the reviews. I enjoy wine and was hoping to find a new wine bar to frequent. A friend and I went on a Friday during happy hour. The decor is very nice and they have a small outside patio. Being it a wine bar I decided to try the house red wine on happy hour. The server said he wouldn't recommend that. He said it compares to the wine at the bottom shelf at the grocery store. I thought this was weird because a place advertising itself as a wine bar I would expect high quality. He suggested tempranillo. It was ok. I also tried the malbec. It was ok. We ordered the brie appetiser. Dissapointing. It was breaded and fried. We also tried lobster crab pastry. It was ok. Needless to say there is nothing that interests me in returning. If you are in the area go to Corduroy next door! Better wine for sure.
