| - How is this place considered a resort? A travesty is more like it.
We checked in at nearly midnight for our reservation on a Saturday and walked in on a room with an unmade bed, crumpled sheet on top and pillows thrown carelessly in the adjacent chair. Bedding, still in their plastic cases, littered the floor of the bedroom. How can these people in their right mind or conscience give an obviously unfinished and downright sloppy room to their guests?
When I called the front desk to address this issue they assured me that security would come by to make the bed ASAP. It took them another 20 min to arrive, and another 30 min to actually make the bed. So we didn't even have a chance to get into bed until 1 AM, over an hour after we checked in and entered our room.
And when I asked the security guard who took 30 min to make our bed (because he had to run out in the middle and get additional bedding) if we could get a later checkout on account of this mess, his reply was "oh you should still confirm with the front tomorrow morning" and walked out without another word. Excuse me sir, but do you not also work here? On top of that, bedding in plastic cases STILL littered the floor because he couldn't be bothered to put it away.
The facilities look nice and the rooms are renovated and spacious, however that's where the perks come to a screeching and irrefutable end. Clearly they could care less about customer satisfaction or being detail oriented. And judging by the other negative reviews here, I'm not the only one who's had a horrendous experience.
Hard pass on ever returning here. For those who are considering a stay here, spare yourself the headache and save your money. There are plenty of other, much much better hotels in the area.
