  • Overrated...and here's why. YES -- the place is massive. YES -- there are probably a million records in that place (really). YES -- You could get lost in a labrynth of vinyl (always good). BUT -- well here's the problem. If you're a "condition" guy like me, Jerry's is NOT your store. I found a few albums, but the time I spent verses the amount of records in my stack was definitely a case of "diminishing returns." There were times when I felt like I was flipping through one huge dollar bin. The scratchy crap certainly outwieghed the gems. I'm not a Pittsburg native, but I have a feeling the Jerry's is the kind of place where the stock never moves. It's worth visiting this place ONCE just for the spectacle of it all. But don't plan on spending a day here. You'll be disappointed. I don't see myself coming back.
