  • This company AKA Arizona Impound recently towed my car from my apartment complex. They tagged my car because the registration tag was expired. It was on private property and was not being driven. When they initially put the orange tow tag on it, I proceeded to get a temporary registration since I just purchased the vehicle. I got the temporary tag and taped in in the back window but these folks took the vehicle anyway. Technically they STOLE my vehicle. I was charged $195.00 for the tow and $25.00 for storage. Keep in mind I noticed the theft at 6:20am and the office didn't open until 8:00am. I finally contacted them at 8:00am and was told the amount to get my vehicle back and that it was out in Apache Junction. I arrived in Apache Junction around 10:00am to pick the vehicle up and there was no one there. This location is in the boonies and not staffed by anyone. I called again and they dispatched a tow truck to the site. When the driver (Dirty, smoking, tattoo covered, and intimidating) arrived 35 minutes later I asked him why they took it and he was quite nasty with me saying I would need to call the apartment complex, and then said, "I'm just the driver". I contacted my apartment complex and they of course told me to contact the tow company. I did that and they basically called me a liar. Now I have to take more time off work to take these fools to small claims court. They said they have a picture of the vehicle but have yet to produce it. What a racket these folks have going on! Shame on you!
