  • We've been watching the food quality at this location steadily decline. Been going to this store since it opened quite a few years ago. We see lots of expired items on the shelves. The produce is hit or miss. And out most recent experience, my husband bought 4lbs of grass fed ground beef. Two of the packages were in date by a day. The other two packages were expired by three days. When he went back to the store to exchange the out of date packages, the store manager took him to the back to exchange the two out of date items. But there were no packages within date in the cooler to exchange them with! They had to run to the back and grab him meat that was in date. In the meantime, they quickly started removing the out of date items in the meat cooler. This isn't the first time we have had issues, eggs and dairy products are not rotated well at all. The fresh O Organics herbs have been pretty bad lately as well. Their julien date on herbs have been more than a month out! The herbs are dry and old. If you do buy anything perishable at this Vons, please make sure you check the dates. I did give this review two stars instead of one, because we really like most of the employees at this store. We know many by name and most are very friendly and courteous. It is too bad the quality has fallen so greatly.
