| - This is one of my stops on weekly market round up. I try to get stocked up at all out of the way places at once, so I'm not spending all day running back and forth.
I come here for certain types of produce- mushrooms that you can't find affordably elsewhere- black are my favorite, though they aren't always in stock, shitakis and oyster. Other items I snag are bags of ginger, occasionally taro leaves, bok choy (especially baby), sometimes seasonal berries and apples.
In frozen seafood I pick up frog legs, at $4.99/Lb they are priced better than my local Smith's by a few bucks, and baby squid.
Then off for wonton and egg roll wrappers, oyster sauce, very well priced canned coconut milk, rice cooking wine, rice vinegar, sesame oil.
It's not a one stop shop for me by any means, I also drop by La Bonita for bulk of my shrimp, chicken and produce needs, Russian store for kinder eggs and Costco for majority of other staples and occasional trip to Smith's, but I'm not Asian and this isn't my primary method of cooking.
Still, I love this store and occasionally grab fresh bread, rolls or pork bao to treat the fam.
