| - Now let me start by saying that I realize this is Canadian Tire and that I shouldn't expect much from them, but honestly! I look through their flyers periodically and sometimes this prompts me to go in there, and while it's not a far walk from home, I'd rather take a walk somewhere else if I'll I'm going to do is take a walk and not find what I'm looking for.
I went into the Canadian tire yesterday and spent about half an hour (or more, I didn't keep track) walking around the store looking for typical things you would expect to find in the summer. Beach chairs, a beach umbrella, etc...okay, so apparently beach umbrellas don't exist at Canadian Tire?! Oh no wait, but they do because they had them advertised in their flyer. Not that I was interested in buying the super cheap $10 umbrella they had advertised, any beach umbrella would have done. I don't know, maybe I'm too late in the season. Oh no wait, it's the middle of July!!!
Okay, so if that's not enough, the sale people at that store were super unfriendly and they also loved to play a disappearing act! I would see one to go ask a question (yes, I do ask them for help when I can't find things) but every time I would turn a corner to ask someone they would disappear. So eventually I just gave up on the umbrella. I settled for my beach chairs (which I do love) and I headed home.
Came home to find out yet another light bulb from the package of energy saving bulbs I bought from CT less than a month ago has burnt out! Okay,so in a package of six bulbs that's 5. Oh, and I've already returned a similar set of energy saving bulbs to CT in the last 6 months because they did the same thing. I don't blame CT for the bulbs burning out, but they do keep supplying me with a faulty product, and now I must go back, yet again...
That being said, earlier in the summer I did find some great plastic glasses and a juice jug there for drinking up on the patio, and so far so good!
