My quoted 15 minute wait was actually 30 minutes. But no worries, I brought a book. I walked in right on the half hour before another patron, who was in earlier and made an appointment to come back at that time. The atmosphere was quiet during the mid-morning, just me and a handful of senior ladies. I got a mani pedi and thought the technician did a fast, decent job. With some scrutiny, I did notice there were minute bubbles in my manicure, but after four days, the polish is still on and there are no chips. The pedicure was relaxing with the massage chair and bubbling water basin. It was hard not to eavesdrop on conversations, but interesting nonetheless to hear about family issues and rantings. It makes me wonder if I will I ever get like that?
I did have a pleasant conversation with another lady at the drying table. She has been coming to the salon for years for acrylic nails. She knew everyone's names and said they were all pleasant to talk with, in fact, I did notice her and the technician talking up a storm earlier. I'm too introverted to do small talk like that.
It's a good place to go.
