I attended a free first class with my son and I'm not sure I would ever enroll him for regular classes. I had never been there before so I wasn't sure what to expect. When I walked in there wasn't anyone at the front desk. I saw other parents with children around my son's age so I figured they were waiting for the same class to start.
Once the class started we sang a song with bells and my son seemed to enjoy that, however, he didn't have much fun after that. The instructor had us do an activity that involved the babies doing some tumbling, my son was 5 months at the time so I was skeptical. Of course the instructor did all the work for my son but he went through the motions of it. He screamed, which I expected but quickly quited down after I picked him up. I wasn't very bothered by it until after a different activity the instructor said we were going to do the tumbling AGAIN. I just don't understand why he would have us do it again when more than half of the babies were clearly unhappy with doing it. I stuck out the 45min class and when we were going to leave I was pressured to sign up for the summer program. The lady who was at the front desk kept staring down the instructor the entire time he was talking to me, clearly wanting him to say something that he hadn't said.
Maybe my son would enjoy it more when he's a bit older but I just didn't get good vibes from this place. I felt like their main goal was to take my credit card info. I'll stick with gymboree.
