This is a pretty traditional Mexican restaurant - big hot plates with orange rice, refried beans with cheese, and some standard entree - i.e. flautas, chimichangas or fajitas. The margaritas are not special (taste like a mix or a pre-bottled version).
So why do I like it?
Because it's one of those little family run places with a great one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Because the chips come warm and with two kinds of salsa. Because the staff cares and makes you feel at home. I go for the atmosphere and the perfectly adequate food.
Incidentally - the flautas were overcooked - crunchy, but the fajitas were quite good.
