  • I had my Juki for a year and it was due for the yearly service so I took it to this place since it's so close to me. She had told me it would be two days to be done and that was fine. Two days went by and I heard nothing and another two days went by and I finally called her. I was told there were 5 machines ahead of mine and it would be close to a week. What happened to the two days? If it isn't a Pfaff it goes to the back of the line I guess. Finally got it done after calling one more time, the two days ran into almost two weeks. While I was checking out she spent the whole time trying to convince me I should have a Pfaff and I could trade in my one year old Juki and get about $300. trade in on it. Is she kidding? Why would I do that? So I get my machine finally and it sounds funny and the thread is jamming up on it. I go through it twice and check everything out, I call the place I bought it from, Sewing Machines Plus in Cali, the tech listens to it and tells me it does sound off but since he can't see it he can't really tell me about it and suggested I have it looked at by someone else. My grandson does Upholstery and he took a look at it, he finally noticed the screw that holds the bobbin case in and rests against another part was a little loose. He tightened it and it was done. It now runs like it did when I first got it. I would say she is either lame and can't tighten a screw or she did it on purpose thinking I'd have to bring it back in. I don't want a Pfaff and I will never take my machine in to her again.
