  • Update: Disregard the comment below. Sanctum re-opened in May as Stacy's - a gay bar, but no more goth scene. Strange, it still looks gothy as hell inside, but it's open every day of the week now and has karoake and country dance night, so whatever -- http://www.stacysatmelrose.com/Events.html After about 3 years, Sanctum is closed. At least under Steve Roger's group. This is a club that nobody really understood. Like "why is a Scottsdale club in the middle of Phoenix?" and "it's hard to have a conversation." Really? Yeah, it was a killer nightclub that NOBODY appreciated outside of the regular crowd that came. And this was never a club you came to get VIP, bottle service, or even complain to management. Why do people put up with any of that GARBAGE Scottsdale shit post-housing bubble? The building will probably reopen but possibly not as the same. In the meantime, Palazzo will be open First Fridays.
